Widespread PHP Flaw May Cause Many Site Outages Today (KrebsOnSecurity)

If your business website runs on PHP (and most WordPress sites do), this one's worth five minutes of your time this week. Two critical PHP flaws are being actively exploited, letting attackers take full control of unpatched servers, and Check Point says the vast majority of public PHP installs still aren't showing patched versions. Here on Vancouver Island I see plenty of small businesses whose site was built years ago and hasn't been touched since. Check with your host or developer, confirm your PHP version is updated, and make sure you've got a recent backup before anything goes sideways. If you're not sure where to start, I'm happy to take a look.
